FUNCTIONS MANAGER

Club Bega requires a Functions Manager for working shifts including nights and weekends. May also be required for shifts at Bega Country Club. Current NSW RSA and RCG and experience in the Clubs industry is required for this position.

The applicant will become fully conversant with all responsibilities required of a Functions Manager.

• Developing and coaching team members to deliver customer service excellence;
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends & public holidays as required.
• Key Responsibilities for this role will include but not be limited to:
• Liaising with customers to organize functions;
• Responsible and accountable for the operation, counting and balancing of the Club’s main safe as well as performing the daily banking;

Maintaining the bookings calendar for both Club Bega and the Bega Country Club for all functions, events and golf;

• Responsible for ensuring the safe operation of all functions within the Occupational Health & Safety Act and Club Policy;
• Developing, running and monitoring the effectiveness of all promotions;
• Responsible for the coordination and correct servicing of Club promotions, entertainment and other leisure activities;
• Providing support for rostering by providing additional roster requirements for functions and events in a timely manner;
• Responsible for ensuring all legal and policy compliance of events, functions and promotions;
• Reporting and data entry;
• Complaint Handling and Self Exclusion.

The vacancy is for a Casual Duty Officer / Shift Manager, 25 – 35 hours a week working days, nights, weekends, and public holidays as required. Experience in a similar role is a must.
